Actress Kareena Kapoor, director Madhur Bhandarkar and producer Siddharth Roy Kapur held a glitzy promotional programme on a cruise in Dubai for the ongoing promotions of Heroine.

Kareena was spotted wearing a printed pink and black Halston Heritage maxi, Bhandarkar was wearing a white ‘Nehru’ jacket over a black shirt trouser, while Roy Kapur stuck to the conventional clack suit.

Kareena Kapoor, is set to reveal her fashion and beauty secrets in a new book releasing this December. In Style Diary of a Bollywood Diva, scheduled to hit stands this year end, Kareena takes readers into her fabulous life giving insights into her style, fitness and beauty.
The actress writes about her journey from a chubby teenager who accompanied her actress and elder sister Karisma on shoots into one of the hottest leading ladies in tinsel town, according to publishers Penguin Books India.
Kareena, who turns 31 later this month and who had previously written a forwarding note in her personal dietician Rujuta Diwakar’s book, talks about her fitness routine including how she came to acquire her much talked about “Size Zero” figure in the new book.
The actress, who is busy promoting her soon to be released film Heroine where she is seen sporting uber glamorous gowns will give tips to replicate her iconic looks from Pooh’s sexy red choli and pants in Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham and Geet’s T-shirt-salwar in Jab We Met.
The book by Kareena is the first to be launched under the Shobha De imprint of Penguin that includes celebrity memoirs, guides and biographies — with a focus on lifestyle, business, cinema and commercial fiction.

Aamir Khan features on the latest issue of Time Magazine following the success of his controversial TV show Satyamev Jayate. The TV show brought social issues to the fore, ranging from female foeticide to equality rights.

Ever since he released the poster of his much awaited film Heroine, director Madhur Bhandarkar has been receiving praises from all over the film industry. However, here’s a little hitch.

The poster of the film is a copy of, or rather is inspired from the book cover of Siddharth Dhanvant Sanghvi’s “The Lost Flamingoes Of Bombay”. The poster has Kareena lying on a bed surrounded with glossies and pictures of herself, with an empty wine glass tipped down.

Not just the poster, it is heard that even the protagonist of Sanghvi’s book is a film heroine named Zaira.

We guess Mr Bhandarkar is not aware of this allegation or should we say, he chose not to respond.

On recieving positive response for the poster, Bhandarkar tweeted, “Thank you for the enormous & overwhelming response for the posters. Promo to be launched online on 25th evening.”

The first trailer of Heroine comes out on Wednesday.

Prachi Desai and Rohit Shetty an item | Bolly Wood Gossip

If rumors are to be believed, Prachi Desai and director Rohit Shetty are said to be seeing each other. It all started on the sets of Bol Bachchan. Reports say that their relationship is going steady and strong.

Buzz also has it that the director has moved in with Prachi, leaving his wife and kids behind. We also hear that Prachi is the reason for the the directors breakup with his wife and is tagged as a ‘home-breaker’ in the industry. However, the actress chooses to remain silent on the issue.

While filming for Bol Bachchan, Prachi Desai and Rohit Shetty got close and then gradually their fondness for each other started to develop. It is heard that the duo are pretty much open about their brewing relationship and were spotted dining together a couple of times, in Jaipur.

Ever since the stunning Deepika Padukone donned an orange bikini in her latest film Cocktail, her super sexy figure has become the talk of the town. So how does the gorgeous actress maintain her beautiful self???

Deepika says, keeping away from food isn’t the way to lose weight. Healthy eating and regular workouts is the only trick to stay fit. The actress also reveals the secret behind her 10 on 10 figure.

“I think ideally one should not reach a stage where you have to go on crash diets. You need to be conscious on a daily basis. I feel that this should be your lifestyle,” Deepika told IANS.

“For me, working out and eating healthy is a part of my lifestyle. I don’t do it for a particular shoot. I know people who eat in a crazy way and suddenly they want a perfect body, and they go on crash diets. That takes a toll on your hormones,” she added.

The 26-year-old doesn’t believe in size zero. She rather prefers to stay on the healthy side.

“I feel that size doesn’t matter, fitness and health should come first. I know people who are heavy, but have great stamina, and I know skinny people with no stamina. It depends on your fitness level. There is nothing wrong with being a size zero as long as it is a healthy size zero,” she said.

How did Deepy manage that hot body in a bikini???

“We shot in Cape Town and I did alter my diet for the shoot. But because I have always been fit, I didn’t have to go on any type of crash exercise or diet,”she said.

In Cocktail, the actress was styled by stylist Anaita Shroff Adjania. This has been Deepika’s favorite look so far. However, she is not keen on repeating the same style again.

“The idea is not to repeat ‘Cocktail’. It (the look) was very apt for that film. I can’t use the same look in another film. Of course, I want to experiment with the look, but I am still playing a character and I need to be true to that,” she said

Kareena Kapoor not a part of “Chennai Express”!

Rohit shetty has confirmed that Kareena Kapoor being cast opposite Shahrukh Khan in “Chennai Express” is rumors and says that the leading lady is yet to be finalized.

“I haven’t approached kareena,she knows what i am making.I might do something else with Kareena,” Rohit shetty told PTI in an interview.

The buzz that revolves around the movie now is that Deepika Padukone will feature opposite SRK in the movie.

“In 10 days time everyone will come to know who our heroine is” he said.

Chennai express is Rohit’s first movie in which he has left out his close buddy Ajay Devgan. Ajay has been a part of all the eight films rohit has directed and the director says that chennai express should be an exception.

Shetty also quashed out rumors of ajay not being a part of the film because of a dispute.

He said “Ajay and i are working together on singham2 and there is no reason why are bond of friendship should

be questioned”.

The shooting of chennai express will go on floors from mid september and the movie is set to release

by mid 2013.

All rohit shetty fans have to watch out for this one as chennai express is going to be a total commercial-”Rohit shetty style”,where

one would get to see his signature style like cars blowing up.

“I do all these things (blowing up cars and all) for children as they enjoy it. All this will certainly happen in chennai express..but

not blowing up trains”,he chuckled.

The movie is about a man who travells from Mumbai to Rameshwaram and the incidents take place during this journey.

“The whole movie is not about the train journey,it is something else as well and there is a reason why the name of the

film is chennai express.like only 15 to 20 mins of the film is in the train,it’s not like the whole movie is filmed in the train.

I can’t talk much about the movie as it is too early”, Rohit said.

Meanwhile Rohit Shetty is on the seventh heaven because of the success of his last venture, Bol Bachchan a romantic comedy.

People are jealous of Sonam Kapoor says Anil Kapoor | Bollywood Gossip

Veteran actor Anil Kapoor believes that people in Bollywood are jealous of his daughter Sonam Kapoor.

in a recent interview to a website said that just because Sonam Kapoor is a star kid people criticise her for no reason. He says that when Sonam Kapoor did Saawariya and Delhi 6 everybody said that she looks like a bahenji and she should wear modern clothes. And when she wore fashionable clothes in Aisha they said that she should go back to her earlier characters.

Anil further added that Sonam has an international personality and even Tom Cruise could not believe that she is an Indian when he saw her walking in Cannes. Anil thinks that not everybody can do it and that's why people are jealous of Sonam Kapoor.

On being asked about his nephew Arjun Kapoor, who is making an entry in Bollywood with Ishaqzaade, Anil said that he is very excited about Arjun's debut and he likes everything about him as he is a Kapoor boy.

Anil, we agree that is the most fashionable actress in Bollywood, but she still needs to learn acting! A pretty face and star kid tag will not help her fetch good movies.

Sonam, may be its time to take acting lessons from Papa Kapoor!
